CMNTY Platform 5.18.0 – Bounces & Complaints in Newsletter Insights & Design Updates
Every two weeks, we release updates to our community platform; today’s release is Platform 5.18.0. As we continue to release updates to the platform, we’ll also release a blog post here to help walk you through the new features of Platform 5.18.0.
Our Newsletter feature in Analyze now offers bounce rate and complains. We are also updating the texts to of the feature for clarity. The feature allows for a view of which members received, opened, bounced, or received a complaint for a given Newsletter if Email Insights are turned On. Review our article on Newsletter Insights for instructions.
We have updated the forms and elements of a number of Modules. These changes pose a design risk to platforms with custom CSS as the code for the below sections have changed. If your platform is at risk for a design change, be sure to reach-out to email@example.com to inform our team.
Blog Overview – Comments, Categories, and Social Sharing updated
Tab Functionality – Journal, Forum, and Challenge tabs and Community page updated
Form Functionality – Add Discussion, Add Forum Topic, and Private Message forms updated
What’s New? Widget – only Mobile View updated
Footer section Widgets – style consistent with Main Top section
Comment boxes – height increased to accommodate long responses
Group labels – style consistent across modules
Drawing Tool Removal
We offer an Adobe Drawing Tool that is going to be removed by Adobe in the coming months. In anticipation for the end of this integration, we are removing the Drawing Tool from the platform in early November to prevent any issues for your platform. If you use the drawing tool, it is best to turn it off or reach-out to us for more details.
Wondering What Else We’re Working On?
Right now, our development team is hard at work to continue to expand the functionality of the insights page, platform design, and email tracking from Platform 5.18.0. Stay tuned and never hesitate to reach out to firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions!
