July 2020 - Product Update

29-07-2020

At CMNTY we strive to offer you the best tools to get your research job done, especially during these tough times. This month’s update is once again packed with solutions to make your research life easier and get you insights faster.

Focus Improvements

Our new Focus module is currently our most used solution with dozens of clients bringing their focus groups online. Here’s what has been added to Focus this month.

Raise Hands for Quick Polls

Focus group participants can now virtually raise their hand. This is useful for when people want to bring up a question without disturbing an ongoing conversation. But moderators can also use this feature to do a quick poll amongst participants. Just open up the attendee list and request everyone who agrees with your statement to raise their hand. Use the “lower all hands” button to reset.

User Groups and Meeting Invites

You can now assign a Focus meeting to a user group to make sure only “authorized” people can access your meeting. Email invitations can be sent automatically to all eligible users and includes an ICS file, which will be recognized by calendar software (like iCal or Google Calendar).

Rescheduling your meeting? No problem, an automatic email will be sent to inform your participants and update their calendars. You can also cancel a meeting, which will also inform participants about the cancellation.

Share Content During Focus Meetings

Screen sharing was already available within Focus. A disadvantage is that it doesn’t include sound. In cases where, for example, you need feedback on a commercial, you will want to be able to play a video with audio.

We now include the option to share videos directly in your meeting without having to use screen sharing. This feature will make sure the video plays simultaneously on the devices of all participants.

Tech Checks

Your CMNTY Platform now contains a self tech-check page you can share with participants. This page allows participants to confirm their device is compatible with Focus.

In case of problems, the system will give tips on how to resolve the issue. A detailed help center article is also available right from the tech-check page, if troubleshooting is needed.

General Improvements

Onboarding

To make the onboarding experience for participants even better, participants now enter the meeting unmuted and with their video turned on. No longer do you have to explain how people can unmute themselves and enable video.

Audio files

Sometimes you want to share Focus recordings with your client but privacy is a concern. That’s why you can now also download only the audio portion of the recording.

Pulse Improvements

For most of you, CMNTY Pulse is now the place where everything comes together and where you get insights from the platform. This month we added a couple of new features to it. We also migrated some info from the regular Admin section to Pulse because we think it has a better place in Pulse.

Task Completion Matrix

Assigning tasks to participants and being able to keep track of their progress is important. That’s why you now have access to a Completion Matrix. In the blink of an eye you can now see who completed their tasks and who did not. It will also show you completion rates in percentages.

Excel Export

Using the built-in Excel export, you can quickly share with your team, client or panel provider which participants have completed all of their tasks and are eligible to receive an incentive.

Mass Reminders

With the click of a button, you can now send a reminder email to participants who did not complete their tasks yet. This can positively impact your completion rates, making sure you get maximum ROI on your panel costs.

Poll Analysis

Poll analysis was moved from the admin into Pulse. While we were at it, we’ve improved the design of it as well. We also made sure that you can download the graph so you can add it to your presentation or report more easily.

KPI Dashboard

The segmentation and demographics graphs from the Admin are now available in Pulse and soon we’ll be migrating the other ones as well.
