A proper salary step despite headwinds in 2022
Despite the various crises and investments in harmonisation of companies, processes and systems over the past year, everyone will improve in terms of salary in 2023. The exact percentage increase is different for everyone, but we have set the 2023 salary space at 5% as of 1 January. This includes inflation indexation, so-called performance pay (step) and promotion effects combined.
How is this 5% built up? This percentage is somewhat higher than what the Central Planning Bureau (CPB) foresees for 2023 as the average wage increase in the Netherlands, which is 4.6%. In addition, our percentage is at the upper end of the benchmark with companies in business services, which is between 3.5 and 5.5%.
Furthermore, we looked at the purchasing power development for 2023. The government is trying to support citizens in many areas so that purchasing power does not deteriorate too much. The purchasing power decline is expected to be 4% in 2023.

Jubilee scheme becomes loyalty bonus
The jubilee scheme has been modernised from 1 January. In the old scheme, you received a one-off amount if you had 12½ and 25 years of service. In the new scheme, you get a one-off extra half a month’s salary net every five years of service.
With a new scheme comes a new name: the loyalty award. The first jubilee to receive a loyalty reward is Gerrit because of his ten years of service. Congratulations Gerrit!
Marketing & Communications department
The appointment of Nicole Ebbeling as marketing coordinator leads to a new set-up of the Marketing & Communications department. Together with several colleagues from Reputations and Sven de Boer, Nicole will form a hybrid team led by Jos Frijters. Because we receive many different requests from the organisation, we will work with one central e-mail address: marcom@marketresponse.nl. So please use this address for all questions and requests, so that the team can share the work evenly.

Enjoying the week with a glass, together with colleagues. We gladly bear the costs, also in 2023. However, we will move this free drink in the Brasserie from Thursday afternoon to Friday afternoon. This is to spread out the peak rush of colleagues in the office more. The bell for the last free round on Friday will ring at 7.59 pm.
Incidentally, the company drinks to which MarketResponse invites all colleagues will continue to take place on Thursdays.
Colleagues 4orange now also in Triangel
Step by step, we are becoming more and more one organisation. For instance, as part of the harmonisation of employment conditions, we have now also added 4orange colleagues in Triangel. That is our HR and remuneration system.
Marcel Clerx Manager Sales & Customer Support a.i.
From the realisation board, Marcel has long been involved in setting up the sales & customer support department for the revamped MarketResponse. He now also formally fills the role of Manager Sales & Customer Support on an ad interim basis. This means that principal sales consultants Frank Bos, Wiebe de Ridder, Wolter Kloosterboer, Bas Peters and Fred Roodbeen are hierarchically managed by him.
We are growing and office space is growing with us
We are increasingly going back to the old normal. Particularly in summer 2022, the office was considerably busier. Colleagues not only enjoy meeting in the office, the organisation is also growing steadily. This calls for more working space. In addition to the extra office space 5.09, there will be an extra meeting room and a small one-person room. There will also be places in the corridors for slightly more private meetings.
